Gold Medal Jasmine Tea Pearls,
Fujian, China, Spring 2009
Larger image
Two leaves and a bud are expertly picked and fresh Jasmine flowers are folded in with the tea and left to rest. This is repeated 3 times until the flavor of the flower compliments the tea without overpowering the natural taste of high quality green tea. Other Jasmine teas are artificially flavored or over-scented to mask inferior or stale green tea. This is a sweet, bright, and heady jasmine tea.
