Tea Tasting Event

February 7th Tea Tasting:

Ah winter! Bursts of rain, then the sun peeks out for an hour and just like that she disappears again behind heavy white clouds.  With the weather this erratic, it's hard to stay warm and easy to catch a cold. Keeping warm with oolongs, red teas and puers is a lovely way to pass the season until spring warms your back again. When the sun peeks out, it's a great time  This weekend we'll look at teas not on the menu: White Peony, Bak Sa Lok Cha, a new Monkey Picked Ti Kuan Yin, and a puerh cake we've been keeping for a couple of years to see how it ages. It's a 10 year old heavily cooked cake. With a rich earthy taste, this tea is sure to keep you warm.

Come on along to Ed's house for a tea lesson, some tea history, and bring your questions and curiosity for tea varietals!
