Join us for a free informative talk highlighting tea growing areas, including a free introductory taste. Next, interactive tea tasting will offer guided exploration on how to taste and evaluate these great teas.

Tea Tasting Event

Sunday July 11th from 12 - 3 pm

Please join us this Sunday for a tea tasting at noon to experience the newest teas of the season: soft and chestnutty Dragonwell, rich and grassy Japanese Sencha and sweet hot Gyokuro. We have a deeply intoxicating 26 year old Ti Kuan Yin Oolong that lingers for hours on your palate, and a lovely brand new Liu  Bao (fermented black tea) that is surprisingly complex sophisticated for it's age, as well as being a steal of a bargain too!

We'll also have Purple Clay Tea Pots in various sizes and shapes, from different artists that are perfect for dedicating to your favorite tea. Choose a sesame clay pot for Dragonwell, choose a red clay pot for Keemun, or a black clay pot for Liu Bao tea. Learn how to choose a pot and season it from us. All our clay pots are investor pieces that will gain in value over time if taken care of simply and properly. They will bring you great tasting tea for years to come.

Location: 442 Hearst Ave. (between Edna St. and Forester St) SF, CA 94112

Cost: $15 to taste teas on the menu; $5 more to taste private collection teas
