One of my friends went to Yunnan and was given a green Puerh cake. He was wondering how best to store it or if he needs to do anything to it to help it age well.

Hi Jason, we'd love to host you at our tea tasting if you're ever out our way! In the mean time, we have samples available for sale on the web site, so you can do your own tasting. We don't have the Keemun up yet, we'll have it up by the end of this week. I also recommend brewing a new tea for the first time with Evian water. I've found that no matter where I am, upstate New York, California, Washingon, Hong Kong, Shanghai, that Evian water gives me a consistent brew, and will provide me with a "touchstone" of sorts. I can judge what my tap water is doing to the tea (increasing or decreasing flavor output) after I brew it with Evian. I read on facebook that you got some bamboo charcoal, how is that working out for you? Have you noticed a difference in the taste of your water or your tea? You can reply to sina@redcircletea.com. Thanks! Sina
